Workwell-in-our-words-pic.pngA new campaign, WorkWell in Our Words, has officially launched, shining a light on real-life experiences of individuals who have benefited from engaging with the WorkWell initiative that is led by Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The campaign aims to amplify personal stories, inspire others to seek help, and highlight the life-changing impact of the WorkWell imitative, which is a pilot funded by the UK Government to support people with health conditions and disabilities to find or retain employment to boost their wellbeing.

Through a series of videos, written testimonials, and social media engagement, the campaign shares first-hand accounts from individuals who have navigated challenges in employment while managing their wellbeing with the support of WorkWell. By sharing their stories the campaign aims to offer hope, encouragement, and a deeper understanding of the importance of integrating health and work systems.

The initiative also invites employers, community stakeholders, and local leaders to engage in conversations about workplace wellbeing and the role of support services in helping individuals stay in or return to work. By adopting an open dialogue, WorkWell in Our Words seeks to reduce stigma, promote inclusion, and build a stronger, more resilient workforce.

The first individual featured in the campaign, shared their experience:

“My Work and Health Coach has been an incredible source of support, guiding me through my job search and helping me find the right courses to enhance my skills. Her kindness, patience, and dedication have made a real impact on my journey. She always takes the time to listen, offering thoughtful advice that has boosted my confidence for the future.”

Those who encounter the campaign on social media are encouraged to engage with the hashtag #WorkWellInOurWords and share their own experiences of positive stories about their work and wellbeing balance.
