As of 31 July 2025, Black Country Healthcare is proudly a vape-only Trust.

Smoking is no longer permitted on any of our sites as part of our commitment to create a cleaner, safer, and more supportive environment for all our patients, their carers, staff and visitors.

As a Trust, we want to do everything possible to support our people to stay healthy and fit, by encouraging healthy lifestyle changes.

Alert - (Amber)

Alert:

We wish to kindly remind all patients and visitors that smoking is not permitted anywhere on Trust grounds. If you do choose to smoke, we ask that you do so away from our premises to help protect the wellbeing of everyone here.

Designated outdoor areas for vaping will remain available. We hope this provides an extra level of support for anyone on their journey toward quitting or making healthier choices.

If someone is seen smoking on-site, a member of our staff may kindly ask them to stop. We appreciate your understanding as we work together to protect the wellbeing of patients, carers, visitors, and staff.

Please know this request is made out of care and with the aim of supporting better health for all.
