Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, every public authority, such as the Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, has a duty to specify what information they publish, how the information is made available and whether it is free or if there is a charge.

Our publication scheme explains what information we provide to the public. Wherever possible, we will make it easy for you to access.

The Publication Scheme is categorised into the seven classes listed below.

We provide specialist mental health, learning disability, and community healthcare services for the population of the Black Country.

  • Across the whole of the region we provide:
  • Adult and older adult mental health services.
  • Specialist learning disability services.
  • Mental health services for children and young people.
  • Community healthcare services for children, young people and families in Dudley.

Publications and Reports
Our corporate publications and documents such as the annual report, Safe Staffing levels, operational plans and financial performance reports will be available here as soon as they are published.

Transparency in Spending
Following guidance issued by HM Treasury, we will be publishing details of any spending over £25,000 from 1 April 2010 on a monthly basis. Our spending report includes all individual invoices, grant payments, expense payments and other transactions over £25,000. As set out in government guidance, it does not include money we spend on staff salaries through our payroll. Details of staff pay and grading structures can be located on the NHS Employers website.

Charity
Our Charity makes a real difference to our patients, their families and the staff that treat them above and beyond that provided by the NHS.

For more information on how you can support our charity and the work they do, please click on the link above.

In this section you will find strategies and plans, performance indicators, audits, inspections and reviews.

Disciplinary Policy

A key part of the government's transparency agenda is the opening up of data held by government bodies, including NHS organisations. In summary, the Trust is required to publish all expenditure over £25,000 on an ongoing basis, on the 15th working day of each month.

Please visit the Trust's data.gov.uk pages here for the Trust’s expenditure over £25,000. The data within these documents is published on a monthly basis which includes all expenditure to a supplier which reaches an accumulative total spend of £25,000 or more. The documents are provided in CSV format and may take some time to load.

Please see below information we are currently legally required to hold in publicly available registers as well as any other lists or registers relating to the functions of the authority.

More information about the services we offer can be found in our about us, or you can view services pages via our service directory.
