Would you like to learn how to support a friend, family member or colleague experiencing mental health issues? Or know where to go for help with your own mental health?
On our Mental Health First Aid course you will learn how to understand the factors that affect people’s wellbeing, how to spot warning signs of poor mental health, and how to hold supportive and non-judgemental conversations.
By supporting people with their mental health, you will enable earlier access to crisis support, reduce the impact of long-term poor mental health or illness and help contribute to a healthier community.
We have online and face to face courses available (see below). Courses are open to all. For further information and costs, please contact: bchft.mhfaenquiries@nhs.net. Our first course starts on 29 May so get in touch to discuss how you can join.
