We are now in the position to offer antibody testing and will be beginning testing clinics across all four boroughs from Monday 8 June and we are encouraging all staff to take up the opportunity to be tested as this will help us to build a better picture of the spread of Covid-19 across our organisation.

An antibody test involves taking a small sample of blood and can tell you if you have previously had Covid-19. A positive test does not mean that you are immune from getting the virus again so you must continue to practice social distancing and follow all infection control measures such as washing your hands frequently and wearing correct PPE.

You can find out more about the antibody test by reading our FAQs.

Clinics will run Monday – Friday and will take place in the following locations:

Heath Lane Hospital – Sandwell
Dorothy Pattison Hospital – Walsall
Ridge Hill – Dudley
Bushey Fields Hospital – Dudley
Penn Hospital – Wolverhampton

The booking of tests will be handled by our HR team and the flowchart to the left gives you an overview of the process we will be following.

To book a test, please complete this form and return to bchft.covid19antibodytest@nhs.net and we will aim to get you booked in for a test within 72 hours.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your test and it is vital that you take photo ID with you.
