Black Country Mental Health Stakeholder Advisory Group

The Black Country Mental Health Stakeholder Advisory Group meets regularly and discusses a range of interesting topics. It is attended by staff and stakeholders from partner and voluntary organisations.

Oliver McGowan Autism Training

This training is named after Oliver McGowan. Oliver was a young man whose death shone a light on the need for health and social care staff to have better skills, knowledge and understanding of the needs for autistic people and people with a learning disability.

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the government’s preferred and recommended training for health and social care staff.

Black Country Integrated Care System (ICS)

Our Black Country Integrated Care System (ICS), known as Healthier Futures, brings providers and commissioners of NHS services together with local authorities and other local partners to plan and deliver joined up services and to improve the lives of people who live and work in the Black Country.

Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB)

The Black Country Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a statutory NHS organisation responsible for developing a plan for meeting the health needs of 1.26 million people in the Black Country. They manage the NHS budget for the area and arrange for the provision of health services locally.
