Long Service Awards resume with a new look! ⋆
Following a lengthy consultation period in which the Organisational Development and Culture team listened to staff feedback, changes have been made to the Long Service Awards policy.
This policy aims to recognise and celebrate our staff and their service within the Trust.
Within this intranet page you will find updated information about the changes to the policy, as well as resources that highlight staff milestone and acknowledge them.
The policy will be backdated to 1 April 2020, which is when Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust formed. Staff will be able to retrospectively apply for their award providing they reached one of the milestones included from this date onwards.
Unfortunately, staff who reached a milestone prior to 1 April 2020 and haven’t claimed their award under previous policies, will no longer be able to do so. We hope that staff are able to understand the decision made around this.
The new 15 years’ milestone will solely apply to BCHFT service (this does not include service with other NHS organisations – inc. BCP and DWMH).

As with all incentives and new processes, we kindly ask for your patience and kindness while we transition to the new process. We have undertaken months of background cleansing and want to ensure that your valued service is recognised across our Trust in a timely manner.
