Our Service
Walsall’s Primary Care Mental Health Service support individuals aged 18 years and over who are registered with a Walsall GP and who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
We are able to provide services for those experiencing difficulties with low mood, stress and anxiety disorders.
We also provide brief interventions for those who experience long term mental health difficulties with the aim of supporting wellbeing and recovery. This is only applicable when no other mental health services are involved in your care.
Our Primary Care Mental Health Nurses (PCMHN’s) are based in GP surgeries and local community centres to ensure that the services we offer are accessible and close to the place that you live. The PCMHN’s will contact you to discuss your needs and will provide interventions where suitable and/or information and signposting to other services should they be better placed to meet your needs.
We are not an emergency service and as such were unable to offer urgent appointments.
